 Body Beautiful Studio is owned and operated in Ladner B.C. by Michelle Gardner. This is her story...

"I have lived in South Delta since 1984. I graduated from the Aesthetics program at the Blanche McDonald Institute in June 1989 with a 98% average - because I loved the program.

After working in a retail salon for a year, I opened up a small salon out of my home in Boundary Bay, called "Esthetics by Michelle". After 5 successful years, I decided to open up my own commercial salon. Choosing a more central location for my clients, I opened "Body Beautiful Esthetics 'n Nails" in January of 1995. The business expanded so much that in 1997 I had to double the square footage of my salon to keep up with the increasing demand.

When my family expanded from 2 to 3 my priorities shifted from business to family. By the time the new millennium arrived, I chose to close my commercial salon and transition to a home-based business, working from my spare bedroom. In March 2002, we expanded again and became 4. I continued working part-time from home, balancing my children’s and clients’ schedules.

I currently offer services in my  professional ground floor home studio that was built in 2007 with a separate entrance for clients only. My studio boasts a new luxurious pipeless massage pedicure chair, complete with a jetted tub and massage features for a very relaxing pedicure experience.  My clients can continue to expect very high quality services  in a soothing, refreshing atmosphere while adhering to the strictest sanitation standards of the Fraser Health Authority.
