 Body Beautiful Studio is owned and operated in Ladner B.C. by Michelle Gardner. This is her story...

"I have lived in South Delta since 1984. I graduated from the Aesthetics program at the Blanche McDonald Institute in June 1989 with a 98% average - because I loved the program.

After working in a retail salon for a year, I opened up a small salon out of my home in Boundary Bay, called "Esthetics by Michelle". After 5 successful years, I decided to open up my own commercial salon. Choosing a more central location for my clients, I opened "Body Beautiful Esthetics 'n Nails" in January of 1995. The business grew so much that in 1997 I had to double the square footage of my salon.

When my first daughter arrived in August of 1997, my focus changed from business to family. By the time the new millennium rolled in, I decided to close down the commercial salon and return to a home based business, working out of my spare bedroom. After my second daughter arrived in March of 2002, I continued to work part time from home, accommodating my children and client's schedules.

My professional home studio was built in 2007. My studio is on the ground floor with a separate entrance for clients only. One very exciting addition to my studio is a luxurious pipeless massage pedicure chair, complete with a jetted tub and massage features.  I still offer the same very high quality services as my clients expect from me, but in a soothing, refreshing atmosphere while adhering to the strictest sanitation standards of the Fraser Health Authority.
